The unique construction of this unit is similar to the well known microbubble deaerators. The special design of the honeycomb net is at the heart of the unique action of the dirt separator. It creates a very still area of water which allows dirt particles of all sizes to sink to the bottom of the unit and collect in the dirt chamber. As the dirt is collected outside the main flow the dirt separators pressure drop remains constant and blockages can not occur. The dirt can be flushed out while the system is in full operation through the drain valve. The large collector ensures that flushing is only required now and then.

ADVANTAGES

 The unique construction of the dirt separator allows for quick and easy dirt removal while the system is in operation. This offers time savings over conventional strainers which need to be taken apart for cleaning. To do this the strainer needs to be isolated or even worse the system needs to be partially drained. All this is not required with the dirt separator, the system can remain fully operational and no replacement parts are required. The honeycomb net ensures that all particles sink to the bottom of the dirt collector.
